Compendium of Educational Actions for the Prevention of Antisemitism FMSH

This platform aims to oversee multiple research projects to analyse current forms of racism and antisemitism in the world. It hosted a seminar in collaboration with an international scientific council and a steering committee, bringing together guests, researchers and stakeholders having taken part in the platform’s programmes. Two observatories (one on racism, the other on antisemitism) and two international chairs (one on racism, the other on antisemitism) are currently being set up.

We focused our research on the following points:

A) We created a list with a documented presentation of French public and private institutions (ministries, academies) that aim to counter antisemitism nationally, in primary and secondary schools; along with a summary of their various projects (education, commemorations, competitions, conferences, field visits, etc.)

B) We created a list with a documented presentation of private associations that aim to counter antisemitism regionally, in primary and secondary schools (in two or three key regions, including the Besançon region) along with a summary of their actions over the last five years.

C) We compared the projects carried out by these institutions and associations, with those carried out in other countries, as well as with the projects carried out by institutions, foundations or NGOs operating at European and international level.

D) We noted the flaws in the fight against antisemitism in France.
